The Vari*Lite VL500 Wash luminaire is based on the award winning VL5 Wash luminaire, but with significant design improvements. The DichroTune radial color mixing system employs three sets of 16 radially mounted dichroic blades- magenta, blue, and amber- designed to produce a smooth, full spectrum of color cross-fades.

The dV-DOSC and ARCS line array series from L-acoustics will be discontinued as of Dec. 31, 2011. The ARCS will be superseded by the new ARCS II line.The dV line will be probably be slowly taken over by the KARA line array from L-Acoustics due to the fact that it is similar in size as well as price.
