Description

These Pathport 2-Port DMX/RDM Gateways show signs of wear and tear, but they are in good working condition. The Pathway Pathport 2-Port DMX/RDM Gateway (XLR5M Out) connects DMX512 control devices to an Ethernet network, then delivers DMX512 to compatible end devices such as intelligent lighting fixtures, LEDs, and dimmers. With two configurable ports, it is a compact way to place a reliable DMX/RDM node wherever you need it, on a truss, at a position, or near fixtures. Flexible 2-Port DMX/RDM networking Each DMX port can be configured as an input or output, making it easy to adapt the gateway to different workflows, such as distributing a universe to fixtures, or bringing a DMX line onto the network. Status LEDs provide instant confirmation of DMX activity and Ethernet link status, which is useful for fast troubleshooting in the field. Advanced patching, merging, and priority control For complex systems, DMX output can be configured as whole universes or as a custom slot-by-slot patch. You can map up to eight control sources to each output slot, with merge and/or priority options for each source. Different Ethernet protocols may be merged together and prioritized, with cross-fading on priority change and user-defined signal loss behavior. Protocol support and RDM capability The Pathport Portable 2-Port Gateway supports Pathway ssACN (Secure sACN), ANSI E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, ShowNet, and includes a 10 Mbps Ethernet port. It also acts as an E1.20 RDM controller when used with free Pathscape configuration software or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet compliant controllers, and provides user-configurable DMX output speed. The Pathport® Portable 2-Port Gateway is ideal for applications where a compact and easily movable DMX Port is needed.
