Description

The Panasonic AV-HS450 Switcher is a compact 2RU live production switcher designed for reliable multi-camera HD/SD switching in broadcast, event, and mobile production workflows. It comes standardly equipped with 16 HD/SD-SDI input channels, giving you a flexible base for cameras, playback sources, and graphics systems in a single mainframe. These units may show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition. Input Processing and Source Management All inputs feature a built-in Frame Synchronizer to help keep mixed sources stable and aligned, which is especially useful when integrating cameras and feeds that are not perfectly timed. The switcher is also mounted with 4 up-converters for integrating SD sources into HD productions, plus 8 color correctors for quick matching and adjustment across multiple cameras. Outputs, Monitoring, and On-Air Flexibility Its standard output configuration includes 4 HD/SD-SDI output channels and 2 DVI-D output channels to support common routing to recorders, streaming encoders, confidence monitors, or on-set displays. A built-in dual-monitor multi display function supports up to 20 windows, helping operators monitor multiple inputs and key program outputs efficiently. Effects, Keys, and Memory for Faster Operation The AV-HS450 includes dedicated hardware for 2 DSK and 2 PinP channels for clean keying and picture-in-picture layouts. Enhanced shot memory and PinP memory support streamlined operation, while a wide range of 2D and 3D effects expands creative options for transitions and looks. Aux Busses and Field-Ready Design In addition, it features 4 Aux busses, and the Aux 1 comes with a MIX transition function. In combination with mix effects, the switcher enables a flexible production workflow, and the redundant power supply helps support smooth field operation.
