Description

These processors may show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition. MCTRL600 is a controller developed by NovaStar with a single-unit loading capacity of 1920×1200@60Hz. Built for driving LED video walls in rental and fixed installations, the Novastar MCTRL600 LED Display Controller is a practical choice for stage broadcasts, monitoring centers, sports arenas, and other multi-screen environments where reliable signal distribution and consistent calibration matter. Video Inputs and System Integration The MCTRL600 supports both DVI and HDMI 1.3 sources, plus an audio input for workflows that pair video playback with venue audio routing. For control and configuration, it provides a type-B USB control port, and UART IN and UART OUT ports that use UART to cascade and control multiple units, which is useful when scaling an LED system beyond a single controller. Output Capacity and Performance With 4 RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, the MCTRL600 can distribute video data efficiently across receiving cards and panels. Each Ethernet output supports up to 650,000 pixels, and the unit supports resolutions up to 1920×1200@60Hz with downward compatibility, helping it fit into both newer and legacy LED wall setups. Calibration, Monitoring, and Supported Formats The controller supports the new generation of NovaStar calibration technology for fast, efficient setup and screen uniformity. A light sensor connector is included for brightness-related workflows, and the unit supports a variety of video formats for flexible content playback across events and installed systems. Physical Specifications Dimensions: 482.0 mm × 268.5 mm × 44.4 mm Weight: 5.5 lbs / 2.5 kg
