Description

These NEC P420X 3LCD Projector show minor wear and are in good working condition. A case is included. The NEC P420X 3LCD XGA Projector is a bright, entry-grade professional installation projector designed to keep presentations clear in corporate boardrooms, higher education classrooms, and government training rooms. With 4,200 lumens of brightness and XGA (1024x768) resolution in a 4:3 aspect ratio, it is well-suited for slide decks, training content, and everyday meeting-room projection. Performance for well-lit rooms The P420X delivers remarkable brightness (4200 lumens) to help maintain readable text and strong color even with ambient light. A 2,000:1 full on/off contrast ratio, Dynamic Iris, and 3LCD imaging (0.63" panels) support balanced color and consistent image quality across typical presentation content. Presentation-friendly features Built-in wall color correction helps compensate for non-white projection surfaces, and closed captioning support adds accessibility for supported sources. The P420X includes wired and wireless networking for flexible installation and management options. Eco features and lamp details For lower operating cost, lamp life is rated up to 3,500 hours in ECO Mode (3,000 hours in normal mode) using a 265W AC bulb (lamp model NP17LP). The active lens cover hides content, mutes audio, and lowers lamp brightness to 25%, making it easy to pause a presentation without fully powering down. Compatibility and supported signals The projector supports common HD and legacy formats including 720p, 1080i, and 1080p/60 video modes, plus data modes up to 1600x1200 for PC sources. This makes it a practical fit for mixed-device environments where laptops and AV systems may output different resolutions. Installation and handling Compact for an installation-class model, the P420X measures 4.50" x 15.70" x 11.10" (HxWxD) and weighs 8.6 lbs, making it easier to mount, move between rooms, or store when not in use.
