They may show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition.  The MAC Viper Wash DX is a full-feature, full-range wash luminaire with a unique internal barndoor system (shutters) that enables designers to shape and control light projection onto stages, performers, scenery, scrims or any set element with great precision. The fixture's internal framing system makes it a highly capable, automated substitute for a conventional daylight Fresnel fixture.  The MAC Viper Wash DX features an outstanding quality of light with unlimited color choices and maintains near full efficiency throughout its entire zoom range with no visible beam jump when zooming from tight to wide. The fixture has adopted the compact form, impressive speed, superior light quality and beautiful colors that the MAC Viper Profile is renowned for and uses the same 1000-watt lamp.  Performance and Beam Control Built for professional stage and event rigs, the MAC Viper Wash DX delivers 33,000 lumens with a flat, uniform field, making it well-suited for clean front light, smooth washes on scenery, and high-output color looks on scrims. The 1:5 zoom range (13.5 to 59) stays continuous and fast, giving you both tight punch and wide coverage from the same fixture without disrupting the look during zoom moves. Color, CCT, and Effects CMY color mixing provides a wide, designer-friendly palette, including true reds, rich ambers, primary green, and deep blues, while linear CTO lets you smoothly shift from daylight to tungsten color temperature and expand the range of usable tones. A combined dimmer/shutter supports instant blackout/open and smooth fades, plus diverse strobe effects. The fast, tight iris adds additional beam shaping and supports adjustable dynamic effects when you want movement and texture without changing the overall wash character.
