Included for parts) (12) PowerCON to Edison Power Cable (12) Omega Bracket The MAC Aura is an LED moving head wash light with zoom and unique eye-candy aura effects. It also functions as a highly capable single-lens wash light with fully pre-mixed color. A ground-breaking optical system combines multicolor LEDs with backlight aura color mixing to produce an all new visual palette that takes the synthetic look out of LED for truly unique lighting designs. Designed for Modern Wash Looks, Plus Signature Aura Built around a 19 x 10 W RGBW LED array, the Martin MAC Aura delivers a broad color palette with smooth, uniform shades that read cleanly on camera and to the eye. The secondary lens array illumination adds a separate RGB aura layer, giving you a distinct “glow” effect around the main beam for looks that stand out on stage, in houses of worship, broadcast environments, and corporate events. Zoom, Output, and Color Control The optical system provides an 11° to 58° zoom, letting you move from tighter mid-air presence to wide wash coverage without changing fixtures. With a specified 3850 lumens output and beam color temperature control (CTO, variable 10,000 to 2,500 K), it is straightforward to match warm tungsten looks or cooler LED-heavy rigs while keeping color rendering consistent across scenes. Built-In Effects and Independent Beam/Aura Operation For fast programming and dynamic cues, the MAC Aura includes a built-in FX engine with pre-programmed effects that can run synchronized or independently on the beam and aura. Electronic shutter effects include regular and random pulse, burst, and strobe options, plus an electronic “color wheel” style effect with 33 LEE-referenced colors plus white, variable-speed rotation, and random color behavior. Independent electronic dimming for beam and aura includes four dimming curve options, helping you tailor fade behavior to live shows or broadcast workflows. Rigging-Friendly Movement, Control, and Standards Compliance Rapid movement is supported by 540° pan and 232° tilt, with adjustable pan and tilt speed via the onboard control panel and DMX. Control is via DMX with 14/25 channel modes (8-bit, with 16-bit pan and tilt control), and RDM is implemented for easier addressing and fixture management. The fixture is compliant with USITT DMX512-A and RDM compliance is listed as ANSI/ESTA E1.20, using an RS-485 transceiver. Compact, Efficient, and Touring Practical Housed in high-impact flame-retardant thermoplastic (IP20), the MAC Aura is compact and low weight at 5.6 kg (12.4 lbs.), making it a practical choice where rig load, truck pack, and quick focus matter. It is designed for high efficiency, low power consumption, and long lifetime, with a minimum LED lifetime specified at 50,000 hours (to > 70% luminous output, figure obtained under manufacturer’s test conditions).
