Description

These fixtures may show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition. A road case is included. The Kino Flo ParaBeam 210 DMX, Center Mount is a directional softlight designed for studio and broadcast environments where consistent, color-correct illumination and low heat matter. The ParaBeam 210 studio fixture produces about the same amount of light as a 1000W tungsten light, but it only uses 1/10 as much power while offering lighting designers 100 - 5% dimming remotely or locally via DMX, as well as switchable (turning on/off two lamps at a time) output control. It is a directional softlight ideally suited for the demands of HD television for high quality color-correct lighting with minimal heat generated. Since the digital medium exposes any imperfection in camera talent, the quality of light is more critical than ever. The ParaBeam's soft output can be focused via louvers (grids) for a variety of set lighting needs, from illuminating a panel of four people across a news desk to isolating to a single subject. Control and Dimming (DMX or Local) Built for fast-paced sets and repeatable results, the ParaBeam 210 supports onboard or remote DMX dimming, so you can adjust output at the fixture or from a lighting console. The wide 100 - 5% dimming range helps you balance key, fill, or background levels without constant scrims or repositioning, and switchable lamp control (two lamps at a time) provides quick, practical output steps when you need them. Optics and Light Shaping The ParaBeam’s parabolic intensifying reflector increases usable output while maintaining a soft quality, and the directional beam makes it easier to keep light off backgrounds or control spill. When you need additional cut and shaping, the focused soft output can be refined with louvers (grids) for tighter placement on talent or set elements.
