Description
This listing is for a Package of (2) GLP GT-1 Hybrid moving lights. They show signs of heavy wear but are in good working condition. Power cables, brackets, and a dual road case are included. The GT-1 from GLP is a true hybrid fixture, working as a Spot, Beam and Wash fixture with highest levels of performance. Using a high powered 440 Watt discharge lamp, its high quality optical system produces a light beam that features an enormous 22:1 ratio zoom range from 3.5° to 57°. The GT-1 incorporates an optical design that doesn’t require different ‘modes’ to activate and so all feature functionality is available at any time. Built for professional stage and event lighting rigs where flexibility matters, the baseless GT-1 design keeps the fixture compact and easy to position, while full 16-bit pan and tilt movement supports precise, repeatable programming. Motorized focus (2 m to infinite) helps keep patterns and edges sharp across varying throw distances, and position feedback improves consistency when cues rely on exact placement. Optics, color, and beam shaping The GLP GT-1 Hybrid uses an Osram Sirius HRI 440W lamp (rated life 1,500 hours) with a 7,000 K color temperature. CMY color mixing and a color wheel with six color filters, three color correction filters, and 1/2 minus green correction provide practical control for matching cameras or blending with existing rigs. A variable frost and beam flattener expand the fixture’s range from tight beam looks to smoother wash output. Gobos, prisms, and animation effects For texture and mid-air looks, the GT-1 includes two gobo wheels: Gobo Wheel 1 offers eight interchangeable glass gobos plus open, with continuous rotation and variable speed, and Gobo Wheel 2 provides 14 fixed metal gobos plus six pinholes and open. An interchangeable, fully indexable animation effect wheel supports vertical, horizontal, or angled orientation and offers continuous bidirectional rotation with variable speed. Prism options include 3-way radial, 8-way radial, and 6-way linear prisms, each with continuous bidirectional rotation and variable speed. Control, reliability, and setup Control is via DMX-512 with RDM bi-directional communication for remote addressing and status feedback. An illuminated graphic LCD with intuitive touch wheel control simplifies on-fixture navigation, and automatic display orientation keeps menus readable regardless of hang position. A self-charging buffer battery supports fixture setup without mains power, and the auto sensing power supply, temperature-controlled operation, and overheating protection help support dependable use in touring and permanent installations. Movement, output control, and physical details Pan and tilt ranges are 640° and 262°, with 8 to 16-bit resolution for smooth fades and accurate positioning. Dimming is mechanically variable from 0–100%, and the mechanical shutter provides variable 1–10 Hz operation. The fixture measures 18.5” x 9” x 25.7” (471 mm x 229 mm x 654 mm) in the head-vertical orientation and weighs 55 lbs. (25 kg).
