The PROTEUS BRUTUS is an extremely bright IP65 rated LED Wash Beam FX fixture offering high intensity wash and effects qualities in any environment. Built around a 1200W Peak Field LED engine, it delivers up to 75.000 lumens for outdoor stages, touring, and permanent installations where punch, color, and reliability matter. High-Output Wash and Beam Performance Providing up to 75.000 lumens from its custom designed 1200W Peak Field LED engine the Proteus Brutus is the ideal fixture for any outdoor application requiring superior output, bright and powerful wash, quiet operation as well as stunning colors and effects. A fast zoom range from 4.5° to 45° allows tight beams for long throws or wide coverage for close-range washes, and the large 220mm front lens helps maintain presence and consistency across the zoom range. Color Control and Built-In Effects Proteus Brutus provides the designer a comprehensive FX package with 6 rotating glass gobos, animation wheel, frost and a high-speed Iris. CMY color mixing with variable CTO supports clean color matching across rigs and camera-friendly tuning, while the 6-position color wheel (including High CRI and UV filter options) gives additional palette choices when you want fast, repeatable looks. Precision Shaping and Motion Its optional indexable framing system provides full blackout shutter cuts for precise beam shape control, useful for keeping light off set pieces, video walls, or architectural surfaces. Motorized focus, high-speed electronic shutter and strobe, plus 16-bit pan, tilt, and dimming control support smooth movement and refined fades for both live shows and programmed playback. IP65 Design and Modern Control Options With its fully dust and waterproof design it is an ideal fixture for theme parks and cruise ships or any application that benefits from its sealed IP65 housing. Multiple protocol support, including DMX, RDM, Art-NET, and sACN, makes it easy to integrate into common lighting networks, and the full-color 180° reversible LCD menu display improves serviceability whether the unit is floor-based or rigged. The PROTEUS BRUTUS fixture ships in a cardboard box with a custom fitted polyurethane foam FIL (Foam In Lay) insert. This foam insert easily fits into a custom sized flight case (not included), and provides enhanced impact protection during transport.
