Used Beltpacks

Belt packs are portable intercom stations worn on the belt. Users communicate using headsets or earpiece connected to the belt pack. The belt pack system has a wireless connection to a base station which can be connected to a specific number of belt packs. Another type is the wireless microphone belt pack system. The headset may also have integrated or lavalier microphone on a boom arm to converse with other people connected wirelessly to the base station. The belt packs are rechargeable units designed to be lightweight otherwise it will defeat the purpose of making wireless communication more convenient and available within a specific distance. Some belt packs available today may have LCD for display of channel selection, battery status, and menu options plus and auto scan feature to find channels. It may also have squelch control with 10 preset levels to adjust RF reception. The communication system can be used in used in film and TV settings, retail communications, military, and airport Safety. For wireless microphone systems, communication is from belt pack transmitter system to a belt pack receiver system. This is made for public address in houses of worship, restaurants, conference centers, hotels, shops and many other applications. Some systems use wireless digital technology which offers a big improvement in terms of performance, reliability, simple set up, operation, and sound quality over analog systems.
