LSC Lighting Systems in conjunction with Open Clear is proud to announce the release of the LX600, the next model in the much anticipated Clarity LX console range.
The LX600 runs the same Clarity software as its smaller brother the LX300 released in July but the enhanced hardware platform improves speed and ease of programming.
Boasting in-built 17" and 10.4" LCD touch screens, the major difference comes from the six User Button Banks (UBBs). Each of these UBBs comprises a 3.2" LCD touch screen with 10 physical buttons located around its peripheral. All UBBs can be configured by the user to control whatever is desired. Thus the user can configure one UBB to control positions, one colors, another effects and even freesets or cue-lists. Just to make the system even more flexible each UBB has 4 pages giving a total of 240 programmable buttons.
Another first for the LX Series is the RGB FaderIdent feature that allows the user to immediately identify, by color definition within the fader track, what is currently loaded on that fader - i.e. whether it is a playback, chase, sub-master, Inhibit master, Time Master or one of the other fader functions.
The LX600 also offers:
Rig view - provides the user with quick, logical fixture selection and a detailed 2D simulation of the lighting rig;
Intelligent fixture Cloning and Copy/Paste using 'real world' data - this ensures that Pan and tilt angles are correct, colors and Strobe rates are matched and even the closest matching gobo pattern is used.
Media server integration including thumbnail representation as well as complete programming access to the parameters of the media server. Currently ArKaos, Hippotizer, Coolux and other Media Servers are supported;
In-built Pixel mapping separate to the media server functionality with the ability to easily patch LED units and run all popular media file types.;
The ability to add audio files to cues for synchronized music/lighting shows, sound effects or even follow spot calls;
15 motorized faders for playbacks and a motorized grand master (used when consoles are tracking).
