DN504 Compressors and Limiters...ic range reduction by the use of sophisticated automatic attack and release circuitry. Or compression can be used as an effect in its own right with full manual control over Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release and Gain. There is also a switchable 'Knee' control which provides the option of
Hard or Soft compression styles.
With the compression ratio set to the maximum value of 50: 1, the DN504 is also able to Operate as a high quality, fast acting, Limiter. The DN504 has LED indicators for every switched audio function, and also has separate LED bar graph meters for gain reduction and for output level on each channel.
Four side chain inputs are provided. A stereo link function is available to allow channels to be linked in pairs to compress stereo signals while avoiding the possibility of image shift.
The DN504 Quad CompressorILimiter is built to Klark Teknik's high standards of design and construction. A well thought out aesthetic presentation is also an aid to realising full dynamic control over gain and level in today's complex productions.
Klark Teknik Compressors and LimitersIn 1974, brothers Phil and Terry Clarke founded Klark Teknik Research Ltd. Their pioneering approach to design and development allowed them to introduce some truly groundbreaking designs. One of the world‚??s first digital delay and digital reverb units emanated from their laboratory, and their descendants remain in common usage all over the world to this day. However, it was their concepts for graphic EQ devices that really changed the world of professional audio resulting in the uniquely capable DN370 and the world famous DN360. Today Klark Teknik continues to bring innovation in design, engineering and sonic quality in both the analogue and digital realm of audio signal processing. With the introduction of Show Command, Klark Teknik have an integrated system of hardware, software and Ethernet technology providing full control of loudspeaker system equalisation, management and routing. Uniquely in its field, Klark Teknik also provides the customer with an opportunity to invest in leading-edge equipment with an extraordinary working lifespan and unrivalled retained value

A gobo may be made from thin metal sheet, usually steel, or from etched glass, depending upon the complexity of the design. Glass gobos often inc
Delay - Delay is an audio effect which records a signal or sound and then plays it back after a period of time. The delayed signal may be played back multiple times or looped back into the recording again to . Used . create the sound of a repeating decaying echo. Unlike reverb, which uses reflected sound to produce many echos, delay has greater control over the number of times the sound is echoed. . Used . ...
Alternating Current - An alternating current (AC) is an electrical current where the magnitude and direction of the current varies cyclically, as opposed to direct current, where the direction of the current stays constan. Used . t. The usual waveform of an AC power circuit is a sine wave, as this results in the most efficient transmission of energy. However in certain applications different waveforms are used, such a. Used generically, AC refers to the form in which electricity is delivered to businesses and residences. However, audio and radio signals carried on electrical wire ar
