The fourth annual tour of the "How Sweet the Sound" choir music celebration is once again benefiting from the high performance of the L-Acoustics full K1 system, which is being used throughout its quest to find the best church choir in the United States.
How Sweet the Sound is touring nine US Cities this year, and in each of them it gives 8 local choirs the chance to show what they can do and battle for a place in the grand final to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles later this month.
Choirs have a lot to thank L-Acoustics for, as the sound equipment provided is truly top notch. The typical PA setup at How Sweet the Sound includes 16 K1s, together with four KARA downfills on each side, while behind each K1 there are eight K1-SBs flown in a standard cardioid configuration.
The system, which is powered by 30 LA8 amplified controllers, also utilizesaround a dozen KUDO per side in the outfill hangs to provide coverage for seating areas to the far left and right of the stage.
