The DigiCo D5T combines a wealth of facilities in a compact, 1484mm W x 868mm D (58.43in W x 34.17in D) worksurface that potentially will give back hundreds of seats a year to large productions.
Worksurface
As with the D5, the worksurface itself consists of 3 touch screens for the input sections and one for the master section, with the addition of previous and next buttons for instant cue recall. As with the D5, the engine is housed within the worksurface but has a much larger bussing capability.
Engine
As with the D5 it includes dynamics processing with side chain EQ; up to 240ms of delay: four bands of parametric EQ, high and low pass filters; but now has, 72 user-assignable busses; 32 x 32 output Matrix; group outputs each with delay, six bands of parametric EQ and compressor; and pre-equaliser group outputs for use by measurement systems such as SIM?; dedicated illuminated Next/Previous Cue buttons; full off-line DigiCo Cue Composer Show Programming software; user definable I/O specification and high quality on-board digital effects.
Live Update is a unique feature enhancement of D5T software, optionally allowing altered controller values to update themselves through the cue list - without further operator intervention.
The D5T gives you unparalleled flexibility in configuring your console to suit the show. Any of the 72 internal busses can be set up as mono or stereo auxiliaries and mono, stereo and surround sub groups (the console is fully 5.1-ready as well as for LCR(S), with three joystick surround sound panners for instant sound placement).
I/O
The D5T allow connection via MADI or Optocore? to up to 4 DiGiRacks allowing up to 224 inputs and 224 Outputs to be connected to the worksurface.
The D5T 'family' makes sound production even more cost effective with the D5-RC Remote Control, an ultra compact operator's console. For the most complex shows the D5-TC Theatre Masters Controller provides extended master fader controls and eight programmable macro buttons and a dedicated script space.
D5T-12
The D5T-12 is a hybrid of the already successful D5T digital theatre mixing system, giving 12 faders, rather than the standard eight, to provide more VCA control within the standard console surface and footprint.

Soundtracs was formed in the early 1980s by a group of recording engineers in search of a better studio console than those available at the time. The teamâ??s success led to two decades of audio innovation and, in 1992, its first development of a digital audio mixing console.
In 1996 this program led to the launch of the acclaimed Virtua console, followed a year later by the DPC, in 1998 the DS3 and in 2000 the D4. Since 2000 the companyâ??s product range has been based entirely on digital audio.
Along the way a host of new technologies has been introduced, including the first use by a console manufacturer of the revolutionary Sharc DSP from Analog Devices, a faster, more efficient processor than any then on the market, the first (and still the most comprehensive) use of multiple TFT LCD touchscreens, a pioneer in the use of a 96kHz sample rate, and the first to run multiple sample rates simultaneously.

Used Digital Mixing Consoles
Audio mixers, or sound consoles, are electronic sound mixing boards used to combine two or more audio signals, before directing them to the output channels connected to the device.
Sound consoles do a great deal more than just combining different audio signals they allow users to optimize the sound output in a number of ways adjusting various sound levels, enhancing sound with special effects and equalization etc, allowing for unmatched control over the end product.
