Portable Stage Flooring

Portable stage flooring refers to the temporary floor surfaces that are typically used in concerts and other events, where a hard, durable surface is necessary to accommodate large number of people walking around or standing on the ground. Generally, flooring will be used for outdoor events held in stadiums or public parks for example, where of course the grass or dirt surface is unsuitable for walking on. Event flooring is available in several different styles, depending on the event and the location. Tent flooring, stadium flooring and dance floors are just some of the available flooring types. Flooring for smaller events, such as tent flooring, is usually made from a heavy duty poly-propylene material, that comes in uniform 4” x 12” sections and can be fitted together and locked in to provide adequate floor space in any kind of arrangement required. For larger areas, a natural-turf protection system is used, made of a similar material but usually comes in large sections. Turf-protection flooring systems are known for their stability and their ability to minimize contact with the ‘real’ surface of the floor, and so they are good for preventing “browning” or “burning” of the turf they are laid on.
