This operation continues to expand and now occupies 15,000 square feet of space. In 1992, the Supertruss system was designed and has proved that the innovative skills at James Thomas Engineering still lead the way in the industry. In 1996, the company started production of the Baby Tower. In October 2001, the US office relocated to a new purpose built facility providing 30,000 square feet on a 6.28 acre site. Stage Roofs

The stage roofs system has taken the performance arts sector by storm. Roofs are often overlooked but they are a crucial part of every stage performance. They can help create a friendly atmosphere. Popular stage roofs include sloped roofs, arched roofs and peaked ladder roofs. Roofs such as an outdoor stage roof and concert stage roof have more flexibility and versatility than an indoor stage roof. Generally, an outdoor stage roof has an expandable system that can be easily lowered and raised. The height and width of a roof is dependent on the amount of modules. Stage roofs are typically made of ladders and truss, which form identical triangular angles to create a strong support system and an aesthetically pleasing design. Stage roof systems are devised in a way to highlight the main stage tower, which is usually located in the center of the structure. The basic platform stage roof concept is to create a versatile structure with only a small amount of components, so that it can be setup quickly and put away and packed up in no time. The best part of an outdoor platform stage roof system is that it’s great for temporary performances and events. The infrastructure can be easily stored and transported with a small reliable crew, especially if a folding truss is used. Outdoor stage roofs make holding a big out door even a breeze.
