The Series 300 range of equalisers is a direct result of this research. It should be noted that equalisation cannot always overcome all frequency response related problems. There are applications where the ability to cut or boost the response at a particular frequency, or over a certain bandwidth other than the equaliser specified one, is required to overcome exceptionally difficult response anomalies or narrow band feedback problems. When such an instance is encountered, it may be more appropri...

Klark Teknik Equalizers

In 1974, brothers Phil and Terry Clarke founded Klark Teknik Research Ltd. Their pioneering approach to design and development allowed them to introduce some truly groundbreaking designs. One of the world’s first digital delay and digital reverb units emanated from their laboratory, and their descendants remain in common usage all over the world to this day. However, it was their concepts for graphic EQ devices that really changed the world of professional audio resulting in the uniquely capable DN370 and the world famous DN360. Today Klark Teknik continues to bring innovation in design, engineering and sonic quality in both the analogue and digital realm of audio signal processing. With the introduction of Show Command, Klark Teknik have an integrated system of hardware, software and Ethernet technology providing full control of loudspeaker system equalisation, management and routing. Uniquely in its field, Klark Teknik also provides the customer with an opportunity to invest in leading-edge equipment with an extraordinary working lifespan and unrivalled retained value
Digital signal - A digital signal is a signal that is both discrete and quantized. Its primary counterpart is an analog signal. Digital signals usually occur in electronics, but may be found in other fields of enginee. Used . ring as well.

Digital signals may be divided into two categories:

* Some are inherently both discrete and quantized (ex. the number of people who visit a certain. Used . establishment every day).
* Some describe phenomena that are actually continuous in one way or another. The signal must be discretized, quantized, or both, in order to make it digital. This "digitiz...

Memory Consoles - Memory-based consoles have become very popular in almost all larger installations, particularly theatres. These new types of controls have completely replaced preset consoles as controllers of choice. Used . . Memory consoles are preferable in productions where scenes do not change from show to show, such as a theatre production, because scenes are designed and digitally recorded, so there is les. Used . s room for human error, and less manpower is required to produce the same result.

Memory consoles have a bank of faders called 'submasters.' These submasters can be programmed to control a single

Wings and Processors - Wings and processors are used to extend the capabilities of lighting control consoles. Wings usually add faders, bump buttons, displays, and other functions to the console while processors consolidate. Used . , alter, redirect or synchronize the signals coming to and from the console. Consoles often have wings designed specifically for use with that console, but processors are more generalized.. Used . ...

Prime Lens - A lens whose focal length is fixed. Prime lenses are not as versatile as zoom lenses, but are generally superior in optical quality. This is due to the simplisity of design with fewer moving parts th. Used . at can be optimized for one specific focal length. . Used . ...

Stages - A stage is a designated space for the performance of theatrical productions or other live events. Some stages are permanent structures in theaters, but often stages are temporary structures built for . Used . outdoor events and can range is size from small 20 to 30 square foot structures to very large arena sized stages assembled from many components.. Used . ...

Equalizers

Equalizers are used in sound recording to equalize the balance between an electronic signal’s frequency components, by boosting or cutting the energy of specified frequency bands. Audio equalization is most widely used in sound recording, although it has many other applications beside that of the recording studio. There are a number of different types of Equalizers used in music recording. For example, a simple bass control (or low shelf), is able to adjust the gain of low frequency audio signals, without impacting on other frequencies. High self Equalizers (like a treble) on the other hand, are used to adjust high frequency audio signals only. Parametric Equalizers offers a far greater range of audio equalization functions however. These types of Equalizers are able to make three specific adjustments, something that makes them incredibly versatile. They can be used first of all to adjust the center frequency, and then they can be used to adjust the Q Factor in order to determine how sharp the bandwidth is. Finally, they can also be used to adjust the gain control in order to determine how much a frequency is boosted or cut in relation to frequencies above or below the selected center frequency range. A Graphic Dynamic Equalizer is similar to a Parametric Equalizer, except that these Equalizers are designed to be much more user-friendly. However, they are also less flexible than Parametric Equalizers. Graphic Equalizers employ a bank of filters to cover as many as 30 different frequency bands in the audio spectrum, depending on the model. The center frequency and Q Factor on Graphic Equalizers is fixed, but the level of these can be adjusted.
