C.E. Studio-2 is a Spanish electronics manufacturing company located in Valencia, one of the most active industrial centres of Spain. It was founded in 1982. Studio-2 began as a manufacturer of professional audio electronics. Today, they specialise in the design and the production of Power Amplifiers, Signal Treatment units under RAM Audio brand and Acoustic Systems under Space Equipment brand. From the beginning all their products were characterised by their innovation and reliability. Both qualities are still "sine qua non" basic requirements for their own brand name RAM Audio and Space Equipment products. At the beginning of the nineties and due to the proliferation of new sound products companies, a great demand for Power Amplifiers opened a new market for Studio-2 as an OEM manufacturer. In 1997, Studio-2 took the important decision to manufacture a new Series of Amplifiers under the RAM Audio brand name, for the export market exclusively. A new facility was built to house the exclusive manufacturing plant. At Prolight+Sound 1998, the legendary up-to-2000 Watts BU Series was presented, which later became the higher-powered BUX Series. In the following years, the new series such as MA, MB and CB with linear power supply were designed. At Prolight+Sound 2002, the DQL Series with QuantaPulse switching power supply was presented. This series was RAM Audio's response to their customers' demand for light-weight amplifiers with power specs up to 7.000 Watts. In 2004, the company launched the DQX, evolution of the DQL Series. A new amp altogether, with many improvements among which the possibility of Ethernet operation and control via their own EtheRAM software. RAM Audio has also digital controllers with up to 2 inputs and 6 outputs available in the LMS Series. These new devices were built to meet very severe specifications in order to withstand any comparison with the best well known brands available on the international market. RAM Audio amps benefit of the tremendous know-how gained by Studio-2 as an OEM provider and offer, besides trustworthy specifications, the protection systems professionals should expect from any first class device. RAM Audio Power Amps are exported to over 40 countries worldwide and their distributors present them in most national and international trade events.

Used Rane Products
Rane Corporation, founded and incorporated in 1981 in Washington State, is a privately held company. The owners all previously worked together in middle management positions at Phase Linear Corporation, a high-end consumer electronics company. With this background, they pooled over 40 years of combined audio experience to create Rane Corporation. Owners became separate department heads based upon their expertise. This organization created an unusually strong structure, since all department heads had a unique owner's perspective in making it succeed. The company name was selected from an anagram created from the common letters of the first and last names of the original founders. This particular anagram was selected because it was short, easy-to-say and remember, and they liked the double-entendre possibilities implying wet-links to the Northwest. The essential ingredients in Rane's successful philosophy are knowledge, integrity, pride and common sense. At Rane, people learn to treat people the way they would want to be treated, to design & build products the way they would want theirs designed & built, and that when something goes wrong, you react quickly and decisively to correct it. It is an old fashioned, common sense way to run a business, based on mutual trust and respect. Rane started out with four products aimed at small bands, designed to make their live performances better. At the forefront was a unique 12-input, 6-output matrix mixer (MM 12) used to create six different monitor mixes for driving stage monitor speakers. The idea was to help performers hear themselves better. Up to that time, either the small group had no monitors at all, or they were all driven by the same mix. What Rane provided was new, compactly designed, affordable tools to help solve the many problems of on-stage monitoring. Complementing the matrix mixer was the industry's first 6-channel power amplifier (MA 6), and a companion 6-channel headphone amplifier for rehearsal (HC 6). The fourth initial product was a unique combo unit, consisting of a 1/3-octave graphic equalizer and a simple realtime analyzer (RE 27), aimed at giving the performing musician a handy, easy-to-use tool for improving their sound in all venues. In doing all this, Rane established a new price-point for performance, quality and reliability. Rane products were priced well below the top high-end equipment yet outperformed and outlasted them, but were still priced significantly above the low-end products -- thus creating a new middle ground. A noteworthy testament to Rane's design significance and reliability reputation, is that in their first two years of production, Rane designed and shipped eight new products -- five of which are still in production today. Rane Corporation today is an established innovator in providing problem-solving professional audio tools, affordably priced, with unequalled reliability.

Ever since, weâ??ve researched the science and technology of sound. Several of our innovations have been awarded US patents. Each discovery opens new avenues for investigation, fresh opportunities for improvement. After 20 years of development, the real excitement is just over the horizon. Thatâ??s why our founder Harro Heinz can still be found in our facility every day. Thatâ??s why our team of dedicated professionals canâ??t stop taking work home at night. Thatâ??s why discriminating audio professionals worldwide rely on us to help them set new standards of reference in sound reinforcement. Integrated Systems The packaged loudspeaker system with transducers, waveguides, filter network, enclosure and hardware is todayâ??s standard. Back in â??79 the concept was unorthodox, but weâ??ve always believed that better ideas will find their way into the hands of demanding professionals. Our first innovations (like US patent #4,336,425) came out of new thinking about compression drivers, but we realized that components yield only incremental improvements. The real performance breakthroughs come from using all the available tools â?? acoustic, mechanical, electrical and electronic â?? to bring reproduction closer to reality. Over a decade ago we introduced the first integrated systems, exploding boundaries that separated packaged loudspeakers from signal processing, power amplification, cabling and hardware. Today our engineers are equally at home with acoustics and electronics. Integrated systems design requires understanding a broad range of parameters, from matching amplifier output to transducer power handling, to precise setting of critical signal processing functions, to optimizing gain staging. Precision adjustment of limiter behavior, crossover frequencies and slopes, equalization and delay is a time-consuming, data-intensive process, but the results are worth it. Our integrated systems approach eliminates the frustration of verifying proper system setup and tracking down faults. The system designer and operator are free to focus on enhancing the listening experience, rather than trying to make the system work by adjusting critical parameters like driver protection, crossovers and EQ "on the fly." We build integrated systems as small as a single enclosure and as large as a high-output, wide coverage multi-element array. Itâ??s all part of our search for new reference points in sound system performance.
