He is a native of Santa Barbara, California and a graduate of the University of Utah along with being a school-trained, mil spec certified electronic assembler, having worked on numerous multi-million dollar government contracts to include the AN/ALQ 184 Radar Jamming Pod currently being used by A-10 Thunderbolt Air Force aircraft. Mark is currently a career Army Officer, Quartermaster Corps, stationed at Ft. Bragg North Carolina. He has been a semi-professional guitarist and vocalist for more than 25 years. In 1995 he was named "Best Guitarist" at an all-Army battle of the bands. Mark's rig consists of a modified Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo (JJ tubes/EVM12L speaker), a Keeley Compressor, a Visual Sound H2O pedal, and an American made Fender Stratocaster modified with EMG pickups.
